I thought I'd try having the "blog"/music page as the main landing page for a while.  Seems more visually pleasing than the calendar page.  What do you think?  Any suggestions or improvements?

I think that's a great idea. The calendar although updated, is just a static picture... so it's nice to get some new content.

suggestions:
new colour scheme, logo, and making the site more interactive.

other than that, thanks for all the lovely music tips!
